Graminton Enterprise, one of Taiwan’s leading nonwovens producers, has developed a line of eco-friendly products including facial masks and baby wipes containing Veocel fibers, combining nature-friendliness with a superior user experience. “Lenzing and Veocel are genuinely committed to achieving the SDG goals by producing responsible products, starting from raw materials and all throughout the production process,” says Gramington CEO Yan Wei. “All of these totally align with Graminton’s value proposition and beliefs in loving the earth and bringing sustainable, nature-friendly products to consumers. The collaboration will help Graminton in achieving its company’s ESG goals.”
This collaboration is a significant step for Graminton as well, especially after observing changes in consumer behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic. Yan Wei said, “Post-pandemic, many consumers have become more aware of the importance of living a sustainable life and prefer responsible non-woven products.” Graminton is also launching responsible products, with 64% of their new 2024 product line being biodegradable, 20% recyclable and 4% reusable.
This collaboration aims to leverage Veocel’s advanced fiber solution, ensuring products are clean, safe, biodegradable, skin-friendly, and have excellent moisture management. The Lenzing patented Translucency technology also enables Graminton facial mask sheets become translucent when impregnated with serum, enabling consumers to meet their expectations for translucency, smoothness, fineness and comfort.
